New Ownership form

Post by buddabun on Thu Aug 14, 2008 4:40 am

Would it be a good idea to have a template of a form that rescues can ask new owners to sign? Detailing that they are leaving on the understanding that the animal is not to be used for breeding etc etc.

I am thinking of printing something like this out for when we have to rehome Fatty's kittens but the same would apply to rabbits too. Any thoughts?

Its a good idea. How legal would it be, I mean would it be like a contract?

Rest in Peace my beautiful boy Rory x

i dont think it would be legally enforceable but it might help ward away potential timewasters

All rescues have a adoption forms, that owners have to sign and that the rabbits or Gp's have to come back to us if for any reason they can not look after them anymore
