ok, this is a strange request..

Had another chat with the vet yesterday about Stewie's heels. She said that it's her opinion too that the problem is being caused by his long legs and mahoosive feet. He can't actually put his feet flat on the floor, and all his weight is on his heels, and it's probably something that he's gonna always have, we just have to manage it.

We were watching the flystrike video on the YT channel last night, and when I turned Bertie upside down to do the bum check, you could clearly see that his feet were nearly half the length of Stuarts

So I have an odd request..could those of you with Small rexes, dutchies, and wild rabbit shaped buns (2-3kg) give me either an actual or an approx measurement of your buns hind feet, as I only have Bertie to compare them too.

I can't think how, but I'm sure that this little man's heritage has been crossed with either a giant or an arctic hare at some point.

I will measure Ratties and totally tick him off! Haha! I am afraid that without serious laceration I have no chance of measuring Easters.

Just measured Thistles' they are around 9 cm, couldn't get it exact because he's a bit squirmy so had to do it next to his foot

Shadow is a little over 3kg so don't know if you want to know his foot length, but I guessed if I give it you have it if you want it
His are 11cm. (He's 2 yrs old in April)

I will easily be able to do Felix's cos he's so accommodating and I have to bring him in for his meds at 10.00 pm anyway. Will also TRY to do Wolfie's but can imagine it will be met with total disdain, a thump and possibly a nip for my impertinence!

I dont think daisy falls into this category....1.5 kg, which is such a shame because Im sure he would have just loved to have been measured.....NOT

I will check Tibbler when I get home, pretty sure she's got some wildie in her. I'd estimate them at around 7cm though.

Well if it makes you feel better Jay, I measured Felix who is extremely cooperative and his are 12 cm. He lay completely still so I was able to measure very accurately. He weighs about 2.4 kg if that helps you.

Brian's feet measures 10 cm. He is now one very annoyed bunny, lots of foot thumping because I held him down. You could say that I was just getting my revenge on him for the 3 tops which he has ruined in the last week by chewing the sleeves.
I will try to measure Hazel's feet tomorrow, but i don't hold out much hope. She is not easy to get hold of.

My Hazel's feet are 9cm and she weighs 5.5lbs thereabouts. She was as good as gold bless her and just let me get on with it

Fudge has just let me measuere him-was rather suprised!SO my little fella has approx 10cm long feets and weighs about 2.2kg..he is supposedly a dwarf lop but I suspect he is probably more a mini!

Gosh Felix seems to have really big feet too compared to everybun else. However, Stewie would appear to have mahoooosive feet.

Thank-you all for doing this, I just wanted to know if what Stewie's feet were abnormally big, and although it's only a couple of Cm's bigger than some of yours, to a fairly small bun, that's a lot. It helps me underatnd about his hock problem better, so thanks again
