A video of my hamster's cage. :)

I thought I would share this here because I know there are a few other hamster owners around.

This is how I assemble my hamster's cage (Neu, my other hamster Kodi is very old, so his cage is all about being cozy and is very boring).
I made it mainly for the hamster forum I go to, for a thread called "proud of your hamster cages".
Even though this cage is way over the minimum recommended size, I wish I could give my hams bigger cages still.
But as long as I live with my mom, I don't want to take over her space too much, so it won't get any bigger than that.

I love seeing good hamster set ups Neu is absolutely gorgeous. I hope you don't mind me saying though but he might benefit from a bigger wheel that one looks like he would have to bend his spine to use it. Wodent Wheels are really good and Trixie do a cheaper copy.

The cage is awesome though and a brilliant size

Oh thanks for the advice, I should have mentioned that I know this wheel is too small for most syrians.
Neu does just fine in it though, as you can see from the picture he's a very small hammy (possibly a runt) and he doesn't have to bend his back at all in this wheel, which is why I use it.
My other syrian hamster has a 8 inches Karlie Wonderland wheel though, I use those for syrians usually, and I have a spare one for this cage, but Neu really likes the Silent Spinner. It's 6.5 inches.

No don't be!
I always point out these things too, so many people don't know how important details like that actually are!
Unless you really look into pet care it's impossible to know, pet stores don't advertise things such as big enough wheels.

What a lovely set up Lottie, your animals are all very lucky to have you as their owner.

And I do so love neu! Such a gorgeous and happy little boy.
