Do rabbits go grey?
I have been noticing, now the big moult has finally stopped, that Bruce has developed a few white flecks through his coat. He has always had a little patch of white just behind his ears which has also seemed to have got a bit bigger. So do buns go grey like we do?

Re: Do rabbits go grey?
Not sure about that but Flora has grey speckles all over her which makes her look much older than 2.
As ive only just got her earlier this year i really dont know if she already had her grey hairs

Clawed, a beautiful chinchilla bun, did go several shades lighter over the last couple of years of her life. She died age 10... the oldest any of my buns reached... think Loll will be lucky to reach next week!!!!!!

Re: Do rabbits go grey?
My black bridge bunny did have grey specks on him as he aged. Not all over but there were some. And when he moulted it was all grey.
It was sad, showed he wasn't a young boy anymore

I do think certain coloured rabbits go lighter, Murphy did and Keegan did and Keegan was like a grey/blue colour and Murphy is a sort of silvery grey.
