Good news that they have him back and I suspect will take better care of him indoors. But what has happened to all the other pets? And what nonce buys a rabbit for £40 at the side of the road and doesn't think it is dodgy? I think I would have phoned the police at that point.

I didn't have time to read the full story but I agree with the woman being stupid not phoning the police!

I would have bought the bunny too, I wouldn't have been able not to, but I def would have phoned the police straight after!

I saw this on facebook, Supreme put it up and i commented because i genuinely dont understand why someone would put their rabbits hutch in the front garden? it seems bizzare. Yes its great hes back but it seems more like a lot of stupidity all round rather than an amazing rescue.

Who puts a hutch in the front garden/buys rabbit for a three year old/pays £40 for a rabbit off the street?!

How lucky to get the bunny back and what a gorgeous bun, but I agree I would never put a hutch in a front garden for all to see it's just asking for trouble nowadays.

I wonder where the original owners got him from as they said they got him for "free" and only had him for four days before it happened. Its not like he's a baby.

It sounds a bit dodgy all round doesn't it.

Glad he's safe now though.

This is horrific, I am so glad you bought him love, I would have done the same but we need to get to the bottom of things like this and just stop them from happening. I know easy to say, not so easy to do.

I would be a bit suspicious of someone contacting me via Facebook and offering to SELL me my rabbit back. Makes me wonder if they had anything to do with the bunny going missing in the first place. Hmmmmmmm

Quite agree Katie, I gave up the idea of us being the most intelligent a long time ago.
