Florence!!

A month or so ago, I planted a load of herb seeds so they'd be ready by the time I moved into my flat (they are going to live on the balcony). Today I potted them on into pots so that I could plant the next lot of seeds.

They are in the living room, and for the last 15 minutes Florence has been sat staring at them!! Only the parsley looks like what it is meant to be, the others look similar, so how she knows they are food I don't know.

How long until she tries to get them!!!

Maybe she doesn't care what they are, just that you have spent ages paying the plants attention so Florence is planning payback

I was half expecting her to escape in the night and help herself But she managed to stop herself!

I agree with Holly, I think she is deciding how many she is having and how many Dougal gets.

I just caught her with her nose out of the pen trying to drag one of the trays to her She managed to get her teeth on it too!

That's why she was seeing how far she could get with just her teeth then!!!

I changed their set up yesterday slightly, the lid is now off the cage part and it's all enclosed, so maybe that's why she was running around like a loon afterwards, she was worried I would find all their tools

Did Florence never attempt to jump on top of the cage and then out of the pen?

No, but Dougal once (and this is a miracle from Dougal) jumped on the lid when it was opened!! I opened it to put hay in, turned around and it was sat on it looking confused!!!! He never jumps anywhere, so it was a "WTF" moment for both of us. After that it was never left open, and cleaning it out was becoming more and more of a faff. I'd decided when I moved I was going to change it, and yesterday had enough and done it then. It isn't perfect as the pen is a funny shape, and Florence keeps going inbetween the pen and the cage bade

Oh no, Molly doesn't need a cage to stand on I'm pretty sure she is hiding wings somewhere
