Do they work in reverse? As in, can ya freeze them? I've thrown the packet out so I can't check

you can get special ice pod ones that go in the freezer too - which are much cheaper and are made to be frozen.

Or you can just freeze bottles of water which is much safer as round plastic bootles are harder to chew and should they pierce the bottle there is nothing inside that will harm them.

All the research (10 years) and development for the SnuggleSafe was conducted to enable it to maintain warmth.

So the ingredients are designed really only for this purpose. Having said that, we have conducted some rigorous testing with the SnuggleSafe heatpad being placed in a freezer over night. The cold longevity only seems to last about and hour. Also by freezing a SnuggleSafe does seem to affect the way you can use it for heating afterwards, so I would be careful here.

Any use outside it’s intended use will forfeit the guarantee.

However, the good bit of news is we are launching a cool pad the end of July 2012. So check our website around then.
