Hi all
I don't have a rabbit as yet, but I am hoping to get one in a couple of months. I have joined here to learn as much as I can before I get a rabbit, so I can give it a great life!!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Hi all
Hi Zo,
Welcome to HH Spending a bit of time finding out about buns is such a good idea as it saves a lot of trouble in advance. There are a lot of stickies (information threads which are locked) so get stuck into them and ask as many questions as you want. We can't always be sure to know the right answer, but our members have a fabulous range of experience so someone will always be able to help.

Re: Hi all
Thanks for the warm welcome! I've read quite a few of the information sheets, mostly about housing, enrichment, food, and handling, but I will work my way through the rest soon enough!
If I had some questions about food, where would be best to post them?

Re: Hi all
I would pop anything that isn't about illness or injuries into Tall Tails and Rabbit Chinwag. Anything about illness or injury goes into The Infirmary.

Hello and welcome in
I note that you are talking of getting one rabbit - can I suggest a pair? Rabbits are social animals and love company. Rescue rabbits are fabulous and would come already neutered, vaccinated and bonded and the rescues are full to bursting at the moment

The plan is to get one (from a breeder as rescue's won't re-home one) then when I have my own place I will start looking into a rescue friend, it's just what suits me at the moment. But don't worry, I have thought about it

Re: Hi all
Hi Zo and welcome to Happy Hoppers This is a really friendly and helpful place to be and I have learnt heaps about rabbit care from being here. I started with one bunny called Vince almost 3 years ago and how I have 7 Not sure how that happened but they are adorable if not complicated little things, but if you care for them right, they will give you many years of joy What kind of bun are you thinking of getting? I look forward to seeing photos and hearing about you new furbaby when s/he arrives

Re: Hi all
I am hopefully going to get a mini lop! I'm seriously in love with them, and I've found a local breeder who has a litter ready to go in september, so fingers crossed the parents say yes
