Rosie has been a bit off since she had her myxi/VHD jab last Wednesday and has not really returned to normal. Despite her nibbling at greens this morning and moving about I still wasn't 100% happy with her so I took her over to the vet's who opened up specially. Predictably she was a completely stressed out ball of fluff by the time we got there Sad I did think about taking BJ too but I know from experience that even when accompanied she is still equally stressed. She doesn't cope with travelling or handling at all well.

Caroline has kept her in - she has very reduced gut sounds and Caroline was not able to get a good look at her teeth due to her mouth being full of saliva/bubbles.

I'm waiting for Caroline to phone with an update.

Any spare vibes would be welcome.

Rosie is stopping at the vets overnight to try to get her tummy moving properly with a view to a possible dental tomorrow.

As she is such a stress head I am obviously worried. Will just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Thank you all for your good wishes.

OK - Rosie is eating and pooing but neither to any great extent. She has had her molars burred but Caroline has said that their appearance pre burring was not really indicative of needing a dental.

I have just been across with some of her favourite dried herbs and I was allowed to see her. That has really upset me because in true Rosie fashion she was a quivering wreck.

I don't know what to do - she is probably still not 100% but given she is such a stress head being at the vet's will not be helping. Am waiting for the vet's to phone back to see whether they think I can bring her home or at least take BJ over.

Poor little mite, I'd be inclined to bring her home if the vets can't put their fingers on anything they are concerned about.

Well, the vet's didn't phone back. I am distraught - lack of sleep is not helping. Am committed to driving down to Towcester tomorrow with my daughter for the llama trekking we booked ages ago. Don't want to go - am wondering if I can drive there and back in a day.

I will be at the vets in the morning at 8.30 with the intention of bringing Rosie home.

Katie, BJ is fine. Doesn't appear to be missing Rosie. Is full of himself trying to get onto the lawn and eradicate all the scents left by wild bunny. I'd not seen him for a few days but he was hanging around again yesterday.
