My Poor Charlie :-( - Loads of Vibes needed please.

Hes not been right the last few days...

Attacking Annie, not coming out for grass, generally looking unhappy.

So I took him to Johns last night and he has run some tests today and Im afraid its not looking good for the little chap.

He has a nasty abscess where his teeth are trying to come through his jaw, his liver in enlarged and he has Pneumonia.

I have no idea how he has got the pheumonia and am devastated and worried sick about it as you can imagine. We always knew we would only have Charlie for a short time but Im not ready for him to go anywhere!

Please can I have your vibes as we are praying for another JC miracle. John is going to get back to me tomorrow when we have some blood test results back about what we are going to do next.

Thanks everyone - I have the little guy home and he is in the shed with Annie.

I asked john if I should bring him inside and he said no as he needs lots of fresh airflow.

He seems quite bright and has munched up his dinner.

Having an appetite is great news as it's the first thing that goes when they are sick. And if he is eating even when he has a sore mouth then he can't be suffering too much. Sending masses of vibes for a JC miracle. If anyone can turn this around it is him.

Also, as I said today by email. Don't you dare blame yourself for any of this. It is possibly the fault of genetics, poor breeding and neglect. You have been his saviour. If it wasn't for you taking him and Annie on, they would both have gone to the bridge long ago.

Hi guys,

charlie is a very sad little chap today, he nibbled at his breakfast so I gave him a syringe feed before I went to work and I managed to persuade him to eat some kale and a fenugreek crunchie when I came home to check on him at lunchtime.

Im hoping a lot of it is the after effects of the GA yesterday.

Im going away tomorrow until sunday so im going to worry myself silly about him. Matt will take good care of him though.

The weather is supposed to improve tomorrow so Im hoping a break from the rain will help his little chest.

John rang to say nothing sinister had come up in the bloods he had taken so far, but there are some more due back tomorrow and so he will speak to me then.

Lots of TLC for my little boy tonight....although I am not his favourite person right now.
