Heard from John this morning and he said Daiz is doing well - still refusing hay but he is eating and pooing.
John is going to do some Xrays tomorrow and ring me.
Thanks for the Vibes everyone!
Its very quiet here without him!

He's home... No real reason for the bout of almost stasis ! His abscess is not looking any better though but not any worse which is great.
John has taken some bloods to be on the safe side and I have a little monkey in a mood.
I've been grunted at and boxed ....... Boy it's good to have him back!

Bruce goes into stasis for no reason occasionally. I always assume that something has spooked him but I am never sure what.

He was meant to have his vaccination on Saturday .... It's just occurred to me this could all have been some trick to get himself out of it.

Re: Daisy is in the vets :-( Home but something not right
I am glad to hear that Daisy is back home
I was at the vets with Paddy today and let Caroline know that Spring was back to normal. She told me that they have had seen several rabbits with stasis recently and that she is sure that the heat and/or moulting is a contributary factor.

Re: Daisy is in the vets :-( Home but something not right
Ive just had a message from John that said his calcium is a bit low.....unfortunately i missed his call.
Ive rang back and we have missed each other.....
He isnt right you know. He's still not eating his hay. He will eat some grass and thats about it.
It could be of course that he feels off after his GA yesterday - but normally when thats the case he will eat his hay and nothing else. Somethings not right.
Ill speak to John when he calls me back.

Oh, I hope it's nothing too much to worry about. I've never heard of a bun with low calcium levels...

Spoke to John this morning - he is still waiting for some other bloods to come back. Ive got to give him a calcium supplement for a few days, so ive ordered some online...hopefully it will be with us tomorrow.
He did seem a little brighter last night bless him.
