It is hard to tell Jack. Oxbow don't actually state what their figures related to on their website - whether it is 60mg glucosamine per 100gm or per tab or what. Working on the basis that it is per hay tablet then the doseage is about right and I don't see why they wouldn't work. But isn't Flopsy the bun with the hay issues?

There are other options for glucosamine. I have sucessfully used arthri aid with Bruce in the winter months. He has 0.5ml so I would think Flopsy would have about the same amount. You certainly get more for you money than with the oxbow. Bruce will take is off a shredded wheat.

Both burgess and supreme do mature foods with added ingredients beneficial to joint health. Bruce has been on the supreme one since he was 4 and is still very chipper and burgess have changed the recipe to theirs so now the buns have both in their mix. The burgess has added glucosamine, but not enough to make a real difference I seem to remember.

Glucosamine takes 4 - 6 weeks to show make a difference so you won't see any immediate change.

We have also used Arthri Aid after Cheryl mentioned it to us once and we bought some for our old girl Grace who had arthritis in her front legs and we had noticed that she wasn't moving much like she used to. We put her on arthri aid and she was a lot more mobile and instead of sitting in one place most of the day and not venturing far she started going from room to room like she use to do before she became worse. We were very impressed with it and in fact we are going to order some more for some of the older bunnies.

I have been emailing the people who make artiaid as the normal arthriaid appears to have disappeared off the market. Unfortunately they have said that they no longer make it. So I just to stress, I would not recommend the arthriaid omega.
