Mason: Me and Max went on a little journey today, didn't we Max?

Max: Hmph.

Mason: Humum said we were going on a special day to a health spa.

Max: *mutter* health spa!

Mason: It must have been very relaxing because I fell asleep and slept really, really deeply.

Max: *mutter* I know what they were doing while you slept.

Mason: And it took me a little while to wake up and I felt a bit groggy, like you do when you have slept too well.

Max: *mutter* that was no normal sleep.

Mason: But someone gave me noms, which I nommed all up and then the Hu-parents came and brought us home again. And tonight we haves cages indoors because apparently buns which have been to the health spa need Keeping An Eye On.

Max: *mutter* Mason, you're an idiot.

Mason: I have tried to escape and been bouncing around and periscoping and the Hu-parents said you would never believe I was a bun who had been to a health spa today.

Max: I'm going to get Sparky to come down and explain a few things to you tonight, Mason.

Mason: What things?

Max: Well, you just wait until you feel you need a really, really thorough wash. Then you'll be in for a shock, I can tell you.

Mason: Hmmm

Max: Twisted Evil

Humum said the thread needed photos, but by then the boys' suspicions were up and they refused to pose for any Laughing

They've bounced back really well. They are back out in their hutches, with the carriers inside in case they need somewhere warmer to snuggle, but Mason had been laying right in front of his mesh door and Max out in his run on his favourite tile Rolling Eyes

They are both eating everything that is put in front of them. And in Mason's case, anything he could pull through from Max's cage before Max got to it Laughing , and drinking fine and pooing like there is no tomorrow.

Their wounds are really tiny and neat, like Poppy's was, so Humum thinks it was probably Sian who did the actual surgery again. There is (obviously) some swelling but everything looks fine.

I did think it was a bit mean of Humum, when she gave them some new toys, to give them a giant seagrass ball each. It hardly makes up for anything, does it? No
