... Guess what I did yesterday with my mum? we went........ christmas shopping, yes I said the C word and I know a lot of you hate it early but I love it me. I am a big kid with it, I do not care mich for halloween or bonfire night and that but i could not resist getting a lot of the presents out the way, main reaosn being is we can save like we need to once we have got what we need. We have a lot of [eople to but for anf animals in the fmaily too Shocked .

Me and my mum even got some xmas decs and could have got tons id#f could afford in the store we went to. I just like to get the presents out the way and done and at the same time cannot resist cute decs and stuff, although I restarined myself well and did not buy a lot for myself for xmas decs etc so I did well.

I hope we get to save soon though, we have a lot to save for and there's too many bdays from this month til xmas too Shocked Shocked . We could do with wining some cash, but that will never happen, and of course every dau is xmas for Dougal Laughing Laughing  spoilt bun.

Now now hoppers do not tell me you are all miserable humbugs like Hudad, I do know it is early but there is logic to what I am doing at least. I will be nice and prepared whilst the rest of you have to go through snow and panic on the last minute Laughing Laughing .

I wantt to see Sparky with her antlers or xmas hat on in December Wink .

I was tempted to edit your OP.

If the innocent smoothies don't have their wooly hats on then it is too early for the c word.

Thumper, are you expecting? If so, congratulations! If not, I'm not sure what you meant Laughing

I have to admit I'm a bit of a ****** for leaving it to the last minute with Christmas. I would start early but Willow kind of stole any spare cash I had in vets bills, bless Laughing

That is usually when we start, well me, Hudad just goes with it Laughing Laughing , but this year we did not get chance to so getting it done this month and next then it is out the way, and exactly, got to grab good bargain presents whilst you can. Exactly what I did the other day.

Ah yes, I can imagine, Dougal has had us paying a few vet bills lately too. Every day for our rabbits is xmas, they will get more spent on them than anyone wont they? with the hay, treats, vet bills, toys etc etc Laughing .

I adore Christmas love so you will get no rebuke from me. We are buying christmas things over the coming weeks. It would be nice to get it all in one go but it is so expensive.

Thanks Jo,

glad everyone on here are not miserable humbugs like my husband lol.

I love it and yes exactly you are spot on, cannot get everything at once either as it cost too much indeed. Another reason why is best to be prepared and start early, hey Jo I think we should put some jingles on for the humbugs of the forum lol.

Ha ha jingles? That is a great idea love only I am afraid I wouldn't know how to. I am lucky, my first husband was a bah humbug but this one is just as excited as me, or at least he pretends to be Laughing

We have boght a couple of chocolate santas and a few bits like the christmas pudding and the vol au vent cases. Our next proper money will not be until a week on Tuesday, so we will be buying some more then. It is s dear though and even if you try to be economical it still works out at such a lot.

Thought you would like that. Maybe we should go knock on some hoppers doors and sing carols for them, although jinges are way better Laughing Laughing

Ye it does work out very expensive indeed. It does not help when there's loads of birthdays coming up, ste has started a distance learning uni course and is 370 for 1 module. He nees to be doing 3 next year ideally in oct it will start the next 1 after this, as this started this month. Then any books he needs, trips etc. We have a holiday in Devon to pay for well half left to pay now and spends we need downt here, we owe my parents 90 and not to mention whatevery dougal needs and our ffod and stuff etc. It never ends does it. I think we need to go rob a bank, want to help? Laughing Wink .

Ye Ste has not been brought up that way, he does not see the point in xmas etc and he is a right bah humbug, I have been brought up with joy and happiness for xmas and love it.

Ha ha, I think we should do something Bugsbunny love, wouldn;t it be nice just to be able to buy and not worry about money? I was brought up the same way, it was a marvellous time and I feel so sorry for peole who don;t have fond christmas memories.

We could always send all the bah humbugs one of those christmas trees that bats his eyes and sings Merry Christmas - Think of how well that would go down (My hubby won;t let me have one though LOL!!)Laughing
