How are your buns coping with the fireworks?

Post by KatieB on Tue Nov 05, 2013 8:54 pm

My next door neighbouts had about a million fireworks tonight......

Daisy was laid on the sofa dozing, Charlie and Annie continued to graze not the slightest bit bothered by the Whooshing and Banging from next door.....

Not what I expected but im chuffed they are so chilled!

Got to go.....Daisy wants me to hand feed him another nuggie......

My two seem to be doing ok as well Very Happy

We had some really whooshy and wizzy ones right behind their room, and when I went in to give them some herbs and stuff they were munching hay happily.

17 buns, millions of fireworks, not a care in the world.

One Humum, coming through the gate with a rustly carrier bag, however.... No

Myrtle was fine, Patch and Daisy were mostly fine till bits of firework started hitting their roof then they were a bit worried.
We got out fibrefirst sticks for them and that seemed to eliminate all traces of fear!

That's what worried Humum the most really, the idea of something hot coming down somewhere flammable in the buns quarters pale

Fortunately nobody very close to us seemed to have bothered with them.

It was 5th November Holly. We have fireworks to commemorate a gunpowder plot.

It's stupid.

Guy Fawkes (clicky) attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605. We celebrate to this day with fireworks and bonfires. Although I am not sure why, as he failed Wink
