By George she's got it! Empty By George she's got it!

Rosie is just the funniest creature at times Love Up to fairly recently she has not dared to venture down off the decking to free range in the garden - she is by nature a very suspicious bun. However once she has got over the initial distrust there is no stopping her! She has had a wonderful time free ranging, charging about and binkying. However it has been a nightmare to get her back up on to the decking and into the shed. We have caught her and placed her on the steps to go back but she decided the steps were much too scary and stubbornly refused to hop up them Rolling Eyes

However, over the last few days the penny has dropped and she goes back up of her own accord. This is usually preceded by my herding her in the right direction but is a vast improvement from chasing her round and round the garden. Of course she doesn't appreciate her free time being curtailed and she lets me know with several stamps as she goes up the path to the steps. She can be a right stroppy moo at times Laughing And I have make sure she can't get to Gabe - her and Gabe have declared themselves deadly enemies Rolling Eyes

Well done Rosie! Laughing

I have a similar issue with my daft pair. They both happily hop down the back door step to go for a mooch around the garden, but then have me chasing them around and around trying to get them to go back up it and indoors. Mind you, are they daft, or really rather clever? Wink

Aww I so love it when they stamp their annoyance at you - never fails to make me smile!

I wonder what her and Gabe fell out over?

It's quite difficult for us buns to understand what hoomins intend for us to do at times, you know. Your ears don't move properly and your nose hardly wiggles at all No

Try her with written instructions next time Wink

Ah, so that is what I was doing wrong Sparky Laughing

Katie, Rosie and Gabe have fallen out because Rosie is a very determined, strong willed bunny when in her comfort zone. She is very territorial with it and as Gabe is too they will have a go at each other if they are in close contact. When BJ has 'visited' Gabe and Lady Spring he is just curious about them particularly the gorgeous Spring. Gabe is narky in response but there is no aggression from BJ. Rosie however is determined to put Gabe in his place. That is not something Gabe will put up with Rolling Eyes

Hence the Berlin wall affair that divides the garden to keep Rosie (and Herbie too) away from Gabe and Spring. If like the other morning Rosie can sneak through she makes a bee line to Gabe to cause trouble.

I never fail to be amazed at the different personalities of these wonderful little creatures.

Me too - they really are amazing, and I don't think we can even begin to understand them.
