Annie is off her food

Post by KatieB on Sun Feb 09, 2014 7:22 pm

And has small poos :-(.

I've syringe fed her just to be in the safe side as she is still nibbling, but I want to prevent stasis before it starts.

She is really moulting ( I thought it was a bit early?? Charlie and Daisy arn't moulting at all). So I'm hoping it's that.

We are off to Johns on Tuesday for Charlie and Daisy to have dentals so I'm going to get John to check her out then.

Bunny worry is never ending .....

My pair are both shedding fast, which is quite unusual. Bruce normal sheds for a while and then Flo starts to join in after a couple of weeks but this time the started together and Bruce's fur is coming out much quicker than normal.

I hope that Annie is back to normal soon. After a run of vet visits/bunnies not eating I am now almost fearful of going round the bunny sheds  Sad

John gave her a check over and had a listen to her heart.

He said her heart sounds "fabulous" yayyyyy

He has taken some bloods though as she has lost weight and her condition isn't brilliant so hopefully this will tell us why she is off.

Daisy and Charlie had dentals and Annie and Charlie had their vacs too.... All three are sulking.

Annie seems quit bright today  thank you and seems to be munching quite happily too.  I'm wondering if it was just her moult affecting her.

It's hard not to over react when you have three critically ill buns.....every little thing makes you panic.

Fingers crossed it was just me over reacting !
