Behaviour Question Please
Hello my friends
I wondered if you could please help me with regard to something Holly is doing continually.
When we go to bed at night or whenever I am lying down, she runs around making a grunting noise and is scratching at me constantly. This can be a little painful when I am asleep in the middle of the night lol
She is very happy, doing roly overs all the time and snuggling into me so whatever it is, she isn't unhappy which means everything to me.
I am almost sure it is mating behaviour as that is how BInky was before he was neutered but we are both girls or we were the last time we looked
Love

Re: Behaviour Question Please
Digging at you is normally a sign that you are in the way and they want you to move. Circling is more normally a male mating thing. I wonder if this is just her missing Binky.

Re: Behaviour Question Please
I think maybe she is just missing him, or the little scamp doesn't want you to sleep - she wants attention! I would try and ignore it, if you react to it at all she may just think that if she continues to do it she will get what she wants.

Re: Behaviour Question Please
Well we both have active girls then.
It lust looks funny and Bertie quite frankly looks puzzled as he doesn't seem to understand what she is up to and will hop off.
I have not seen any aggression with it, so I guess that's ok, naughty girl

Re: Behaviour Question Please
This is what Dougal does to my leg and feet if I am in his way he starts diggig at them for me to move as he is a bossy little fella but sweet with it too. He has started moving my pjs at the side of the bed about into a pile further down on the floor where he wants them to be, he has been cracking me up with it, I moved them and he pushed them back. It is probably a bit of spring fever too but I think she is probably after your attention, little monkey.

Re: Behaviour Question Please
Thank you my friends for your kind replies. I think it is likely to be an attention thing because she doesn't just do it on me. It is the bed, the sofa or the comfy chair. I also think that she is trying to get me up Katie love, that is what Paul thinks. I am silly though, I just fuss her and sometimes she throws herself at me and I just hold her.
I haven't any piccies yet hun as I do not have a digital camera. I have just taken the film in for my ordinary one but there are none on there of Holly. I will see what I can do.
Lots of loves
