Does anyone know if hops are safe for rabbits to eat? they seem to really like them! but I will keep them well away if they are toxic to rabbits. Wikipedia says they are toxic to dogs, but so are grapes and they're ok for rabbits in small amounts.

Hops are in the "weeders digest" book that Twigs recommended at the RWAF conference last year but that's really for humans eating them!

There seems to be a lot of info on brewer's forums  Thumbs Up along the lines that wild rabbits eat the young shoots. I would guess that makes them safe as I am sure wildies must have an inbuilt sense of what is safe.

But I am not sure I would risk it though  Hmmm
