ACCOMODATION PICS NEEDED

Morning Hoppers, the aloof Mod returns from the depths of RSPCA to ask a favour! We are running campaigns on our FB page over RAW and want to embrace the Change One Thing motto. We are asking for pics of the sort of accommodation and enrichment ideas people have come up with for their buns to improve their life and welfare. Fab accommodation and toys or play time ideas would be fabulous. The idea is that we show our followers what can be done for bunnies and ask them to change one thing, to enrich the lives of their rabbits. We are also asking all our rabbit savvy followers to show us their bunnies set ups and ideas they have had to make their bunnies lives better.

I should point out this is for the Branch I work for which is RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid and Lincoln. Not the national society, but we aim to give other Branches the same ideas and spread the word that rabbits needs far outweigh most people's general ideas about buns. And ultimately therefore improve bunnies lives nationwide.

I took some, but they don't come out right. Howard hadbchanged the settings on the camera and it's a proffesional one so I won't mess about with it. Will ask him to take some nice ones.

This is an indoor spare bedroom for two buns


This is an outdoor run and hutch for two buns!

Looks like a resort for the pampered bun!

This was a Summer house that we bought and Mike made a walk in aviary type run on the front. This was for 2 rabbits who's owners circumstances had changed and she couldn't keep the rabbits anymore. The owner of these rabbits has very kindly offered to pay for the Summer house.















This shed was bought for 4 of our rabbits but sadly one died in January this year so there is just three going in it now. It's not quite finished yet as it has more chilling shelves for the buns to go in. The big square thing like a television on the wall is a heater.









This is two of the many indoor pens we have this is for the nethies.

Yes and whilst the buns were out this afternoon a squatter moved in and found the gigging box most comfy!

This happened before and I didn't realise and got the bunnies back in. Of course it is Bubbles most precious space and she chase the cat off by biting her bum and tail!         

More bunny housing .  This is the 'Munchkins Cottage' and we bought it to house Sophia's buns Marley and Dolly in come Summer ( if we ever have one) it was on offer at B&Q and we thought it would also do for boarding one day. Mike was insulating inside it when I took this photo.





Flooring



The wendyhouse has decking in front now and when Mike has time he is going to put a walk in aviary on.

This inside puppy crate and pen belongs to Arfa who is totally blind and who is quite ill at the moment with a thoracic tumour. The puppy crate was put in so that we don't have to handle him  much if at all as due to his tumour it's painful for him to be picked up so the puppy crate is so he can come and go as he pleases and so he is more comfortable and happier. His pen is like this due to him being blind.





We have a double garage and this is where we keep most of our rescue buns they all have hutches with attached pens.

Aww Thank you, it's all about the bunnies here, we live with them   

Some brilliant pictures and ideas here - our set up is still work in progress and I love looking at what others have done.

C.boldaun, I just love that seat you have next to the hutches - very funky fabric! I have family in Gloucestershire so maybe you should keep an extra close eye on it...!
