Hello my friends

I hope you do not mind my writing this but I am upset. Whilst innocently looking through bunny clip art, down the side of the page was a description of something hellish happening to bunnies

I am not going to tell you because I don't want you to feel as I do, but I wondered how anyone else copes with this. It has been on my mind all the time, as many other cases are and always popping into my head and I know you all feel the same as I do. It was the organisation PETA who launched an appeal for money, a lot more than money is needed I think.

I take comfort that in some of these barbaric countries where there are indigenous citizens who are equally outraged and doing all they can to stop diabolical cruelty. Many love animals now and want to stop any cruelty and I realise what a horrid task they have.

How do you, my friends, cope when they hear about these incidents? I have enough of them popping into my head all the time. As with you I cannot describe. I how I feel, there is just no putting it into words but I know you all know exactly how I feel.

Any help or advice would be so appreciated.Hissy No Crying or Very sad

Lots of love

Hi Jo

Im sorry you have seen something that is so upsetting. I know exactly how it feels and how much you want to un-see it.

I think its just a matter of time (although I saw something about pigs the other day that I cant shake)

I understand why people like Peta do it - while the likes of you and me already know what goes on, and don't need to be told, these shock tactics aim to reach people who would have never considered animal cruelty before. But, its hard when you see something like this and arnt giving the opportunity to avoid it.

Like you these things haunt me. I find doing things to try and make a difference (like emailing an angora company or something). This makes me feel like I am trying to help in some small way and helps me deal with it. The other thing I do is give my buns a big big cuddle and tell them I love them and remind them how lucky they are. knowing I am doing my best for them gives me some comfort.

You know what they say.... Loving one animal may not change the world, but it changes the world for that animal. xxxx

hope you are ok hunni sending hugs x x

Oh Jo I know what you mean. Watching or being exposed to images of animal cruelty and then unable to "digest" what you have seen. I some times get so angry that it turns into violance and even hate. And surely I'm not a violent person.
Totally agree with Katie on this. So many people haven't got a clue what is going on and how mistreated animals are that they might need a wake up call with a sledgehammer. I have to admit. That if there are warnings of graphic and horrible scenes then I won't watch or stop if it gets to much. Like with the angora one were the poor buns are screaming. I can't listen to this. It makes me feel sick.
I hope you find a way to cope and send you all the love and forgiving that I can master. Hugs Hugs Hugs

I try not to look at anything I know is going to be horrendous when it comes to animals. I get sent lots of petitions to sign but even some of them I have to delete
straight away as there is usually a photo on which is upsetting.

I see some awful things on Facebook and I don't give a page a like if I know I am going to constantly have upsetting photos in my Newsfeed, I do try to do my share as with the angora
cruelty , I didn't see the video and never will but I have seen enough of the photo's by accident and I found them 'harrowing' and with having depression it
can leave me very severely depressed as I am apt to dwell on it. I did use photos of our angora Jess to get the word about not wearing angora and it's was shared by many and so I feel
both Jess and I played a small part in the angora campaign.

Thank you my daring friends for your comfort and support, I am like that hun, it makes me love my bunny and give extra cuddles and I also pray that these atrocities be stopped, with no likelihood of them reoccurring. An impossible dream and it doesn't help those who have already suffered. I do avoid pages like that love and I agree with you, some people do need to find out so that more can be done. I was only on a bunny clipart page for goodness sake and I just was the pane on the right. I didn't open it up

I know you all feel the sane as I and thank you for your friendship, it means a lot to me. Like you Katie love, I do all I can on line and even donate a little if funds allow and it is so true what say about saving an animal's life and not being able to save all the animals. We all do our level best and hope that in our way, we have made a difference somewhere. I feel as you do Boldoun love, sheer hate and I am not prone to hating. I really would like to see these ******** punished. Not death, that would be too quick!!! I am clinically depressed love so I am on permanent medication for it but when something like this is brought to my attention, I could take the whole bottle and it would do no good.

I can;t thank you enough for all your loves and cuddles, they have been a great comfort to me and I am extremely lucky to have such bunderful friends.

Hugs and loves to you all.
