Spoke with the vet, I said that as he didn't really seem to be affected by the loss of sight in one eye that I didn't really want to go down the route of surgery. If his other eye goes then it will definitely be considered.

Re EC, as he has no other symptoms they do not believe it is EC. Cataracts caused by EC would also generally be accompanied by swelling, which he does not have. The vet is satisfied its just a cataract with no underlying cause.

He's due his jabs in Jan so he'll have another check up then, T will have a check up then also.

What a worrying time for you love so I too am sending lots of anti spur vibes. We take Holly every two months for toothy check and luckily so far, she is fine.
