What's the deal with ...
finding the right spot to eat a treat?
I gave Henners a hay cake this evening and snatching it in his usual gentlemanly manner he dashed off to find the SPOT!
He did five circuits of the dining table, veered off into the sitting room, circled my armchair three times, shot through his log tunnel and behind my desk then headed back into the dining room to settle down and eat it on the very spot where I gave it to him!
What's it all in aid of?

He does it regularly with treats. Food in dishes is eaten from the dish but with anything else he performs this daft ritual ... even with a cabbage leaf that he often trips over. If he tears a bit off the leaf he is in a real dilema because he can't decide on which peice to run with.
Nine times out of ten he ends up eating it at the spot where he was given it.

Daisy likes to eat his treats on top of his control centre. Aparently its important to eat while you have a good view.

Henry hasn't figured that out yet .... all round views are waaaay down on his list of priorities. But don't ask me what's on top of the list. He's a bit of a one-off is my Henners.

Junior does this now and again! Usually to the sound of me saying "if you don't eat that quick, Molly's going to steal it off you!". Which she does!

This sounds hilarious to watch love, it would be great if you could video it. Only having Holly she doesn't have to worry about her food being pinched but the guinea pigs do. Lacy is a b....., she will leave her treats, try and pinch Darcy's and then go back for her own. I have had similar things happen when I have had more than one bun.
