A day of highs and lows

Post by KatieB on Sat Oct 03, 2015 8:00 pm

So its that time of year when two little buns spend a good deal of their time sitting under the pear tree hoping that a gentle breeze will shake the tree giving them a reward for their patience! lol.

Today though Matt took all of the pears off of the tree so that he can try and make some home made cider.

Can you imagine the excitement!!! 100 plus pears all coming down from the tree at the same time! OMG!

Quickly followed by disappointment as the pears are put into boxes and whisked away.

A day that started with so much excitement has ended up as the most awfully disappointing day if you are a bunny in the Britton household.

Let the sulking commence.

This has really tickled me because my Holly and the guinea pigs love pears and have some sometimes for a treat.  I bet they thought all their birthdays and Christmases had come at once  ROFL ROFL

AWWWW! Poor buns .... didn't he give them just ONE? If not I'll join them in hoping Matt gets a peary hangover!
Henry as followed in Clawed's paw prints in his liking for a slice of juicy pear. Have you ever noticed anything about your buns when they are enjoying pear? Clawed's flanks would twitch and quiver when she was slurping a pear and Henry's do the same. A sign of bliss?
