Original names
Inspired by another thread!!
Did your rabbit(s) already have a name when you got them? If you changed their name, what was it before?
Molly was Hilda.
Junior was (whispers) Horatio.

Soundwave was nameless( that wee one was used when referring to him)
Miranda was supposed to be skyburst but John left it at Miranda and it does suit her.

Re: Original names
Somehow I think Molly is an Hilda ... it suits her
But Junior is far more in keeping than Horatio and suits him well.
Well, Henry was Henry. Whether that was the name the sanctuary gave him or what he had had prior to going there, I don't know. I added O'Shaughnessy so that he is now formally known at the vets etc. as Henry O'Shaughnessy. Somehow he looked a bit Irish and having had a rabbit called O'Riley (Mr Toast O'Riley) I felt justified in adding O'Shaughnessy.
In the past I had Toffee and Truffle who's previous names were Ren and Stimpy ... I just couldn't live with that. And Loll was either Starlight or Midnight (he had a twin brother who died and it was uncertain which rabbit was which); I named him Mr. Laurie and, naturally he became Loll.

In my mind Junior is still Horatio. In fact I must be psychic as I was thinking about the he whole Horatio conversation when in the car earlier.
Bruce was unnamed but Flo was called Toni. It never suited her.

I have got troubles to write post, all weird outcomes.
Vernon loves French and I don't speak it but Edith Piaf CDs do the trick. He gets funny when he hears French.

Re: Original names
so far i have always renamed Rabbits, i had Chuckles and Giggles became Tia and Teo,
i once had a 'Foxy' who became Nefertiti, Tor, as he is now was 'Smartie', but is more often known now by his nickname of Dillon....
Generally my Buns have an Egyptian King or Queen theme, wheras my cats went with Greek Gods and Mythology where possible, but keeping with the initial O for some reason... Odesseus, Osris, Ophelia, and Odette....

Henry doesn't go big on languages but, like his mum (Me) he does appreciate a session with The Who! He stamps a lot to Keith Moon's drumming .........
