Ugh Sad
Philip must hate me right now Sad Earlier I tried to check his bum after he had a mucky bum... he struggles so bad and he squeaked and everything Sad
Then it was Panacur time (they're both being treated on advice of the D1ck vet due to MJ being an EC bun and they recommend all new buns are treated anyway), so the way their pen is the litter tray is underneath a little square ikea coffee table, and next to that is a small carrier with a rug thing on top. Generally they jump from either the floor or of the litter tray onto the carrier then onto the table. So Philip had ran away from me into the litter tray, he then tried to jump on the carrier but missed and fell backwards. He didn't get up straight away which worried me then when he tried he fell straight back over. He then managed to get up and went to hide under the little ikea dolls bed and he was very unsteady on his feet. It was almost like his limbs just wouldn't respond properly. I actually started ringing the emergency vet but my OH said give him half an hour and see how he goes. So he seems to be ok now... he's came out the pen and he looked to be moving fine, he's now lying next to MJ. He was breathing very fast but seems to have calmed down now. I'll keep a close eye on him, and if anything appears to still be up I;ll call the emergency vet. Eve if he is fine the rest of tonight, I'll be calling the vets in the morning and making an appointment.

What a horrible scare for you love.  I think it is a good idea to give the vet a call anyway, please let us know what he says.

Yes, definitely have a word with the vet. Something like that can have delayed shock effects on the spine/nerves etc.. So watch and take advice.
They can scare us witless at times!

Thanks guys, he's back in the pen with MJ at the moment. They were both mooching for food a minute ago and have both jumped up on the table. So I guess he is feeling alright now. I will call the vet in the morning for a chat. I've seen him miss a jump before, seen T and MJ do it too but its never seemed to hurt anything more than their pride so the fact that he was so wobbly afterwards definitely warrants at least at chat with the vet.

Probably just shaken up a bit. Maybe stunned himself.
Best be safe though, especially with the holidays looming...

He seemed totally fine this morning! When i left them last night he was scoffing hay, this morning I saw him jump up onto and back down from the table.

We have a vet appointment for 6.40pm tonight anyway

Vet appointment went fine, vet had a good check of him making sure his legs were working as they should and there was nothing out of the ordinary, vet is happy that he is fine. Also checked his teeth and weight as we were there. No issues to report!

Phew!
