Re: MJ going to the vet school
After being dropped off on Tuesday morning this week for MJ's cystocentesis the boys are finally home!
Will get the results of the test early next weekend.
MJ had his eyes checked when he was in this time as well, the pressures are ok but he's to stay on the Azopt as well as the maxidex for now and go back for a check up in 3 months. Hopefully we won't need to go back any sooner!

Re: MJ going to the vet school
They're ok... not heard from from the vet school yet re the cysto results, hopefully get something on the ceacotroph sample from Philip... his butt always has poo on it, not bad but always bits stuck there. seems to be excess ceacotrophs but i dono :/. Only real issue atm is that Philip will not stop humping MJ. Poor MJ just sits there for a minute and runs off. MJ is sitting on the sofa atm, its the only time he gets peace because Philip isn't very good at getting up on the sofa.
I bought a bag of barley rings, MJ loves them and they're good for weight gain (they're horse food, but MJ barely touches his pellets, we also have fibre first and i've tried him with porridge in the past but hes not interested). He's getting 3-4 a day (15kg bag - will last a while anyway!).

Give poor MJ a long nose rub from me ... and give Philip a stern lecture!

Just back from a weekend away, Philips butt is a mess again, not that is bothers him (tho it will when I clean it tomorrow) and he's been bombing about as usual (he's crazy). MJ is in a good mood, he's been running about singing his buzzy song with a few binkies thrown in. He sounds like a rather quiet kazoo
Philip is still humping MJ although not quite as much.
Still waiting on the vet school to call to discuss the test results :|
Will chase them (again... ) tomo :|

Re: MJ going to the vet school
Finally heard back from the vet today, MJ has the all clear. Also his functioning kidney completely compensates for his duff kidney. Although as he called when I was walking into the hairdresser I totally forgot to ask about Philips bum :/
I also mentioned the insurance claim, MJ has the exclusion "anorexia" on his insurance and I was worried the insurance would turn down the claim as it was related to his weight but the vet said that this was investigations into kidney function and stuff so thats good
