New to HH, pleased to meet you all.
Hello HH forum members pleased to meet you. Hmm where to start? well...
I am 26 and live in the UK with my gf/partner who is 21. We purchased our first home together in may 2009. So far so good .
A few months later we stumbled into pets at home (I was a little hungover and vunerable) to go look at the cute little bunnies. Hearts melted and my girlfriends eyes fluttered and we ended up walking out of there with little mufassa. A black dwarven lion-mane fluff ball with alot of character. £350 later we have never regreted it or looked back.
With the decition being pretty spontanious there was alot of work to do. I preped the house and we purchased all the stuff we needed.
once Mufassa was settled in and comfortable with us, we started litter training right away, and he was great. Prob only 3 tinkles on the carpet (new carpet ) and a few 'no' 'mufassas' and he was hopping in there on his own doing the buissness. We were so pleased and stil in supprise and aw at how rabbits were. We never realised he would be so loving and give us the amount of attention we gave him.
We know have our 2nd, Flower, a black and white dutch. Adopted from pets at home at 4 1/2 months old. She is a amazing rabbit, so calm and plasid. All you need to do is touch her head and she flops to the floor for petting.
They are both neutered, and we have done the initial meeting phases. Through the bars and the bath tub.
We are know letting them spend time together in a room with us and things are going well for them both.
Flower has even started to copy mufassa in useing her litter tray so great.
Well I hope that was not to long for you
Thanks for reading.
p.s
any help or advice on uploading some images. Do I need to use photobucket or can I just upload form my com? thx
