I am!! I am also a tiny bit nervous, but that's just because I'm a bit of a worrier. I just hope that everything will be ok once I get them home. I'm also hoping that Florence will still be my little girl, and still love her mummy lots, and not just ignore me now she has a bunny friend

I'm also looking forward to boring you all senseless with photos

It's only natural to be nervous

I was really nervous when I took Thumper to our new house for the first time. I actually put it off and left her at my mum's a few days longer than was necessary (I visited daily of course!). I just didn't know how she was going to react to her new environment.

But she was fine and I was worrying about nothing! I'm sure you are too

Chequers fell instantly in love with the lovely Florence, and went to live with her as a housebunny at the end of January 2012.

House and pen now all ready for them. I was sort of hoping to be able to be able to put the house into the pen and remove the cage part, but because the play pen is hexagonal it won't work as it would take up a weird amount of space We'll all have to play it by ear I guess, and see what works and what doesn't. It'll be a learning curve for us all.

I'm curious... Do you pick them up with one carrier or two?

I'm taking one. I got a larger one last week, as the old one was quite small, so hopefully they'll be ok in it. I'm just not sure who to put in first, I'm thinking Dougal as he is larger, as if I put in Florence first he might squash her!! I imagine its going to be fun getting them both in there without one climbing out!

I think I would put him in first too.

Although, I'm sure the rescue have it down to a fine art and will show you the best way

I've got Florence well trained, she just hops into it, but I done think I'll be able to do that anymore! The chances of both of them hoping in at the same time is quite low I imagine

It just gets more fun with two bunnies

I'M SO EXCITED!!! Also a bit nervous because I don't know what to expect from Dougal, I know Florence inside out now, but fingers crossed it'll be ok.

Hopefully Florence will be happy to see her mummy too

Ah so exciting! He looks beautiful, it's such good news they are getting along. It is a really exciting time when you first have a second bun, I know one thing i struggled with was that I wanted to bond with Bruce, and yet I knew I should probably not be monopolising his time so much.

Re getting squashed - don't worry, they're usually smart enough to move out of each other's way once they've landed in the carrier.

Can't wait for more piccies once you've picked them up

I'm going to bore you all stupid with photos I can't wait to have one of me cuddling him, I've got one of me and Florence from when we'd had her about two days.

I'm kinda hoping too the size difference looks better in reality!! But if it still looks a bit daft, hey they fell instantly in love with each other, who am I to argue!
