Something I find comforting when I think of our animals Empty Something I find comforting when I think of our animals

Now, I don't want to upset anyone with this. I am a Christian, this *isn't* me preaching, but there is a particular section of the Bible that gives me comfort when I think of those I have lost.

It is from the book of Isiah, v. 6-9, about the Kingdom of Heaven:

6 The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together;
and a little child will lead them.
7 The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8 The infant will play near the hole of the cobra,
and the young child put his hand into the viper’s nest.
9 They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.

I found this incredibly comforting when we lost Squeak, it helped give me faith that we would meet again and be happy together once more.

As I say, this is just something I personally found comforting, I know religion can be a touchy subject. But I thought if even one person could be comforted by this then it is worth putting up here.
