Rosie a lot brighter tonight and she ate a little hay and washed herself , the fact that she has washed herself proves she is feeling a bit brighter

I am now going to bed

Hope you slept a bit.

aww im so glad rosie seems to be on the mend.....Hope you and mike have managed to have something to eat and sleep....you'll be no good to your bunnies if your all worn out...

Think we are winning
Rosie washed herself last night which was a first as she hasn't done much of anything but sit in the same place since her op, she seemed less uncomfortable and although she hasn't ate her greens she nibbled on some hay and is doing poops ok . This morning both Mike and I agree she look's a lot better than she has since her op.

Unfortunately we are not getting much rest but that's how it is, our one concern at the moment is getting her through it as we don't want to loose her and if it means staying up all night we have to.

I wish I lived closer - I would happily take some night duty to let you get some rest. xx

I've just caught up on this, I'm so sorry for everything you've had to go through but I'm glad Rosie is feeling brighter now, she's a little angel xxx

She is still not eating enough greens by herself she will nibble at some parsley and maybe a bit of hay but then again she is still being syringe fed, she is certainly more alert.

She is back at the vet's tomorrow (Tuesday) for a check up at 5.45pm.

Being syringe fed tonight, she must be sick of it but it has to be done.

Well Mike is on his way home from the vet's with Rosie after her check up and the vet is really pleased with her and said she is doing really well, she said she look's a lot better and her tummy isn't tender anymore, we can cut down the metacam and stop syringe feeding every 2 hours to see if she will eat more on her own, she can have a little bit of excercise tomorrow to stretch her legs but she can't go back in with Murphy till she is eating by herself.

Think we can now see a light at the end of the tunnel

Good news there Maysie. Here's hoping she has really turned a corner now.

You've done such an amazing job. I must confess when you said she was coming home after the operation and on a long journey I was very worried for her, that it would be too much (it was the best choice you had obviously but not ideal), knowing how fragile they are for and recovering from this particular surgery. I'm so pleased that she's doing well, it really is a testiment to your great care of her.

Yay for Rosie. So happy to hear that she is on the mend.

And major praise to you guys for helping her through it
