Moulting...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
MJ has been moulting since MAY. I think he is finally getting near the end- only filling the vacuum with bunny hair every other day instead of every day. Then the other night, T jumped up so I gave her a wee stroke only to be left with a handful of T fluff
HOW CAN SO MUCH HAIR COME FROM SUCH SMALL ANIMALS

Re: Just when you think it is over...
Tell us about it! Poppy is much smaller than she was a few weeks ago, Layla has the tattiest bottom you can imagine, Mason has a saddle on his back and big-clean-out day in the shed is the stuff of nightmares. Theo didn't appear to be moulting but last night when he was having fusses, big clumps started coming loose and falling out.

Re: Just when you think it is over...
We have it with a lot of our buns and we get at least two phone calls for advice a day about 'How do I stop my bun from moulting'

Molly and Junior seem to have stopped moulting mid-moult There's not much coming off them now but they've still got funny moult lines!

Re: Just when you think it is over...
My little Binky has beautiful saddles and he tends to moult in tufts, which isn't so bad. Sorry about all the problems you have had with it my friends.

Sasha and Barley both have really funny lines all over their bottoms. Agouti moults are so funny as they change colour so much.

Re: Just when you think it is over...
Poor Gabriel is moulting badly - he is even more of grump monster than usual. Unlike the other buns he doesn't seem to moult from nose to bum but all over in one go. He is just full of loose fur.
He doesn't seem to object to me giving him a massage in the same way as humans shampoo their hair which brings his loose fur out in handfuls. I also use one of those pads that remove hair from clothes on him which seems to work well.
Both Spring and BJ have very tatty rear ends at the moment too.

Oh I feel like our's have been moulting forever and most of the holiday buns have been in moult to so there has been 'tumbleweed' flying about everywhere. It's all over our clothes, it get's in your mouth and even in the coffee it's just everywhere!
