Spraying?

How can I tell if my un neutered rabbit is spraying or just failing to use his litter tray properly? It sounds silly but I kind of thought 'spraying' implies the actual spraying of urine on walls and vertical surfaces rather than the little puddles on the floor, which is what is happening, however with no experience of this I don't know whether to just ignore it as he is getting neutered soon, or attempt litter box training.

As you say, spraying is usually with some upward and outward effort,

We were really surprised when we took on two un-neutered boys and they turned out to be the cleanest buns we've ever met  

On the other hand, Theo is old enough to know better (and neutered) and a mucky little tinker  


What is his accommodation? Our two boys showed us exactly where they wanted their litter trays and once we put them in the right place they were clean in the rest of their hutch.


Proper spraying is often accompanied by a hip-wiggle to send the urine far and wide in a nice arc. As anybun who went to close to our Max's run found out
