Vibes for Bruce please

You all know what I am going to say. He is not eating and miserable this morning. He has had some metacam, ranatidine and warm critical care. I will book a vet appointment later to get his teeth checked.

Been in to vets. Bruce has a rather large poo in his intestine which is possibly a blockage and some small spurs. So he is staying for a dental.

Oh no!

do they think they can get it moving easily?

i really hope so.

Well he is home, but he is not happy.

The vet didn't mention the blockage when she called. I have had a feel and I can't feel anything now. And he has just had a small nom on some hay and is now drinking (I can't see this but he is such a noisy drinker I can hear him above the sound of the tellly). I will give them their pellets slightly late tonight and hope he will tuck in. If he doesn't then I will know things are still not right.

Well he has just done a few small poos and had accepted his oxbow glucosamine treat and a fibafirst so I think he is ok.

He is back to normal much to my great relief.

However I have been aware that someone has been snoring in the rabbit room recently. I initially thought it was one of the pigs but I am now reasonably sure it is Bruce. Whenever I hear it and take a sneak peak into the room Bruce is laying flat out.

Probably just that he is an old man!

TBH I think if it were anything more serious the vet would have picked it up yesterday. It only happens when he is lying out flat - you can't get close to get a good listen as when you get close he gets up. If it was a big respiratory problem he would have had problems with the anaesthetic yesterday.

What a relief for you love, I am so glad he is better.

I saw the title read about the possible blockage and panicked. I'm Glad that the International Bun of Mystery is OK.   You must have been so worried!  

About the snoring-I've had several buns that snored when they were in a flat out position. It's kinda cute.

It is lovely isn;t it Gentl hun, I often hear Binky doing his happy noise when asleep too?
