Roxy - 6 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Surrey

Roxy is a beautiful 6 year old Staffie looking for a home. She was originally bought as a puppy from a breeder, but the breeder would not take her back as an adult.

Roxy arrived into rescue because of a relationship break up and her owner losing her house. The new accomodation had a no pets clause.

Roxy has a perfect nature with people. She is cuddly and affectionate and loves children. She could be homed with children of all ages and she is very gentle with them.

Roxy used to live with cats and was fine with her own but is a little sharp with unknown cats, so we are looking for a home without them.

Roxy prefers to be an only dog. She gets on with some dogs here but is easily intimidated by others. She is fine to be walked on lead and if no other dogs are about, her recall is very good so we take her to open fields where we can see all round for her to get some free run. She loves to play ball and adores her handler. If another dog does appear she is easily called back to you to be popped back on lead.

Roxy does not deserve to be in rescue. She never deserved to lose her home and she landed here through no fault of her own.

Roxy developed alopecia (hair loss) on her belly when she was about a year old. There is no further treatment for this and nothing can be done about it. It just means that she has a bald belly!

Roxy is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and has been wormed and flea treated.

A homecheck will apply and a minimum adoption fee of £150 applies.
