Happy Gotcha Day Dillon!

After a little more than 3 month I have taken the step to keep this lovely boy.
Reason other than this is he isn't healthy.
He started weeing outside tray, pulling fur and snapping at me.
Off to the vet we went a few times and found his right ear is full of puss. Middle ear? Inner ear.
Started in Baytrill.metacam.and course of panacur.
After a month on that no improvement tombe seen.
I asked the shelter vet to do one last thing for him and get a swab to send to lab for cultures.
I would not consider to rehome as not sure who would take him and whether the stress would make all worse.
So it is thatbDillon is in retirement with me for the time that there is.
Awaiting swab results next week he will come under the care of my vet.
I want bloods taken and once that's done get him refered for advice to Richard Saunders.
He eats he drinks he pops so on this front all well.

I do hope something shows on the swab results that is curable and he can be restored to full health. He's such a handsome boy.

Result is back. Nothing!. A ear full of puss and no evidence of growth?
Now booked with my vet on the 5th and we start searching
Him self. Happy. No weeping around eating anything offered and love running the house being my bun!

That is great news hunni, I am so pleased for the both of you.

Update on Dillon.
He is doing fine.on visit with our vet both ears Benin infected.
Swabs send and came back with no growth.
But his spurs were bothering him. He had a dental last Monday.
With x ray to be reviewed by Richard Saunders when back from holiday. On Baytrill which he doesn't like and metacam but as goofy as ne bunny can be.

I am glad to hear he is happy and behaving as he usually does love. Thanks for the updates
