After a long week of fighting, my beautiful Dolly went to the bridge on Tuesday 22nd July. Crying or Very sad

She had her Myxo jab on Tuesday of the previous week, and almost immediately began to lose her appetite and lust for life. By Friday she had diahoerea and was admitted to the vet for fluids and pain relief and seemed to make a small recovery by Monday evening, coming home to spend her last night with me.
She felt small and cold and we had lots of cuddles. Next morning she was in agony and we rushed back to the vets but I knew she was leaving me, I wrapped her in my cardigan and we sat on the sofa together and I said a silent goodbye Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad a couple of hours later I got a call to say she had passed for the bridge quietly whilst waiting to be seen by the vet. She had been given pain meds so didn't suffer. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad I did'nt ask for a post but I think her body was just too damaged by the EC to cope with the myxo and she died of organ failure...

Although she was almost certainly completely blind, she was so happy. She binkied constantly and dashed about. We would always share a banana or tangerine, and I can still feel her whiskers on my cheek where she used to climb on the back of the sofa to find out what was going on. :luv: I didn't have her very long, but she was my special needs bunny, my heart bunny. God I miss her. It was so hard to wrap her up, I just wanted to stroke her ears and her nose one more time......... I can't stop crying.
