All I can say is WOW.
He is soooooooooooo happy.
I love it all, but how cute when he comes racing in full speed and trying to balance on your leg.....awwwwww.
I cant wait to see him again. (and you too of course - ha ha )

Re: Stewie Video - Life is just a dream
This is incredible.. you really are gifted with bunnies you know. I can't believe how he plays with those toys. I have never seen a bun use those treat balls so persistently!
Re: Stewie Video - Life is just a dream
What a gorgeous bunster. What's the green ball thing he is playing with? It looks like grass?
I wish my buns would play with toys like that but none of them do really. George and Gemma throw boxes around and eat them but that's about it. The outdoor buns do snuggle and chase each other so maybe that's the same as Stewie chasing a ball.
How do you keep your carpet so clean with an indoor bun? No hay or raisins or stray fur. I hoover the rug in my kitchen and within minutes George and Gemma have messed it up again!!

I agree with Rhianna, how do you keep it so tidy?! I have my two in my bedroom and I'm constantly hoovering...it looks like a tip atm lol!
He does look so happy though ...he has the same expression Thistle has on his face, kind of serious looking haha, maybe it's a rex thing. Such a cutie!

Re: Stewie Video - Life is just a dream
Thanks guys
Apart from hay, all of his meals are from the treatballs, so he has no option and he's learned pretty quickly that this is how to get his foodCatswhiskas wrote: I can't believe how he plays with those toys. I have never seen a bun use those treat balls so persistently!
Rhianna wrote:What's the green ball thing he is playing with? It looks like grass? It's a veg treatball, and I fill it with veg in the morning, and grass and blackberry leaves in the afternoon, so he has munchies while I'm out. It's a Godsend that thing, takes him 20-30 minutes to eat it all. YOu can get them at P@H
The outdoor buns do snuggle and chase each other so maybe that's the same as Stewie chasing a ball. I think you're right, they keep each other occupied, so the treatballs keep him occupied. The pellets in the jar is really effective, cos he knows they are in there, but he can't get them, so he just pushes that round for ages I always reward him with a pellet when he's finished

Because he's free-roaming, he has different things in different rooms. we don't have any hay in the front room, as Paul's allergic to it. We've also dispensed with the litter tray in the lounge, as Stewie prefers to go in a tub on the balcony. There's a small hutch out there with loads of hay in it too. He has a big washing up bowl for hay and litter together in the office, where he sleeps. We learned that he always poops where there's hay, so that way we keep the two in one area. Thankfully he's smart enough to know where to get what, and will hop off to the office to eat hay, then come back to be with us in the lounge..he's pretty smart this one, Ibut I do hoover the lounge every day as poor Paul is also allergice to bunnies - he puts up with a lot, my man
Re: Stewie Video - Life is just a dream
I love the veg treatball idea. I think I've seen them but never really understood how they worked
I need to get my indoor buns to work for their food as George is definitely getting a bit podgy. I'm not so bothered about the outdoor buns as they need the extra fat as it's so cold now - and I think most of it is the huge winter coat they have all grown.
I don't let George and Gemma outside now because of the difference in temperature and so they aren't getting as much exercise as in the summer. A veg treat ball would be a good idea. I have one of the yellow ones but they ignore that One with a tiny piece of carrot and spring greens in would work - they love both.
Stewie is certainly a clever bunsta, knowing where to go for what. Mind do know what their litter tray is for and use it most of the time but I still get stray raisins over the rug. They dig in their hay and spread it over the floor too.
With nine cats, the house is never spotless anyway, so I don't worry too much.
I'll have to try and organise with Katie to come over and meet Stewie. I'd really like to see him in the fur. He looks really adorable and very intelligent.

Re: Stewie Video - Life is just a dream
He does love eating doesn't he He is an absolutely beautiful shape and he reminds me a lot of the shape of Janek's sculptures. The last shot in the video is a fabulous profile of him.
My original pair had one of the yellow treatballs, but Gloria obviously thought the carrots on it were real and ate a hole in it the first day!! Mine are total stinkers.
