hay feeder idea
You have all probably already been doing this, I'm just a bit slow to cotton on, but I put a plastic tub filled with hay, on the outside of the hutch tied on at the bottom with cable ties and secured at the top with a catch. It works a treat! I'm not clearing mountains of soiled hay off the run floor and the buns seem to enjoy pulling it through the run bars. Why didn't I think of this earlier?!

Re: hay feeder idea
I tried this one with my two, they used the floor near the hay as their pseudo litter tray
But it is an excellent idea if your bunnies will agree to it!

Hi Katie
Xmas was good, glad it's over though and the kids are back at school and pre school!!
Buns are doing fine, and Rosie is still a house bun inspite of her efforts to dig her way out of the corner of the backroom, through the carpet and into the skirting board! It must have been that half a wellington boot she ate that gave her all the energy, followed by most of my cheeseplant and a nibble of the kids wooden table and chairs!!! She keeps me on my toes bless her!
How is Daisy? Did he get visited by Santa?? Rosie got a husbun and my outdoor trio got loads of xmas dinner veg!
