Vibes for Dexy Please/Update Back at the vet today 27/1

Dexy had a follow up appointment this afternoon and the vet is very pleased with his progress.
He is walking much better, his leg is not splaying out to the side as much although you can see
that there is still a weekness there. His fur is growing back in and the inflammation where his
skin was bare has gone away.
I have to carry on with the evening primrose oil but the Prednisolone has been reduced to 1
every two days. Dexy has now taken up residence in the kitchen at least until the weather gets
better. He no longer has a litter tray as he was having problems getting in and out of it. I just
put a few sheets of newspaper on the floor and hope for the best. I do get puddles but as it is
lino it is easily wiped up. I have found that since removing the tray his bottom does not seem to
end up soaked in urine very ofter now. He is free range in there to make it easier for us to get in
to our cupboards without having to keep moving all his stuff, so he just has a front opening carrier
and a cardboard box with four different types of hay plus his food and water bowl.

That is sounding really positive. Hopefully he'll get the strength back in his legs. I think you'll have a job getting him out of your kitchen. Sounds like he is having the life of Reilly at the moment.
