Peanut Butter - A very special boy
I have been thinking about him a lot recently, i expect its a combination of Stewie getting these sore hocks, and it being nearly a year since I lost my Bonnie too, it just brings it home how much you miss them. I have found some photos that are quite old so thought they would be nice to see!
Peanut never flopped out, so this was hilarious to see, roly poly!
NOT happy with that bandage
I always feel like this is Peanut saying to Jelly "You say one more word Woman!" he looks so peeved!
In a snuggly house
Peanut resting his head on the box lid
With his wife
Summoning someone to come sort out his poorly leg!
As a baby sniffing the herbs!
hiding
After an eventful neuter
"You cant get me in here silly dog" with the beautiful Bonnie
hope you all enjoyed

I still think about him often SJ, as I do with many of our lost ones. PB was just amazing, and his loss was very hard hitting.
I think we all get those days, and know how you feel xx

Re: Peanut Butter - A very special boy
I try not to dwell on it too much because I know we lose so many of our precious bunnies before their time... and I just think to myself Domino and Pebbles are four, and Jelly is almost five - I'm very lucky, to have three healthy bunnies, i know so many go just far too soon. But he was just so special, and I so feel like i only remember his photos now, not him anymore. I havent forgotten him but, he isnt as clear anymore, its been 18 months roughly and it just seems so very long ago.
I guess the reason ive been thinking of him recently is ive seen photos of bunnies hocks recently, in various places that are blistered, red, cracked open, very very sore looking and I think to myself was I wrong to let him go he wasnt anything like that. But i know his was inside more than outside.
Also , I cant help but wonder if I ever should have done things differently and if i knew then what I know now could we have saved him. I stand by that Baytril does nothing for abcesses, and i think to myself "what if we had done septrin from the start" but its stupid to torture myself isnt it.
Could do with bunny snuggles today but they are all far away

He was so beautiful, it is really sad when they go before their time, it hurts like heck and it's not something you get used to either, I still miss Lily-Hope so much and I don't even have a photo of her all mended and better , I am crying now just thinking about her, I miss Mack and Mabel so much and would give anything to cuddle them again, it kills everytime it happens and yet the joy they bring in to our lives is just so worth the pain, I wouldn't have missed any of them, I just wish I had a magic wand,

Mack and Mabel, they were so so lovely too and of course Lily Hope.
I think today would be the day I would cuddle my buns and be thankful for what ive got but being at uni it just feels so empty. I am going home friday -sunday, so i will cuddle them all then.

He was beautiful SJ,
These gorgeous creatures really touch our lives and we are lucky to have been part of theirs.
You said it before in one of your posts......angels with fluffy tails, and fluffy tales too for that matter.

What a norty pair of buns I didn't think Jelly would be so fast. She was like lightning for that treat packet. I loved how she tried to hoover up as many as she could before you could pick then up.
