Bunny jumping activity?
I was passing infront of the exotic animal vet clinic yesterday, and saw an ad about a poney club opening a "rabbit jumping" activity.
Aparently they remade their old track for poney lessons into a rabbit obstacle course. You can bring your rabbit whenever you want, you have to pay the entry though.
And they are planning to have competitions one weekend a month, with rewards.
As you may know i'm looking for ways to entertain Chewy who's been bored and grumpy since Kenzo passed away. The only moments when he's really happy are at the beach, but I can't take him that often.
The plushie I bought him a few days ago is doing him good, he grooms it and nibbles it alot, but he still seems bored. He also only plays with a couple of his toys (he likes the bird toys that hang from bars).
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to take him to this bunny jumping place with my little brother? Would he actually enjoy jumping or would it be more stress than good for him?
I'd love to hear your opinions on this please.

Re: Bunny jumping activity?
We have a lot of rabbit jumpers on another community I run and it has proven very popular. I am not overly into it myself but I can see the interest. It’s a great way to bond with your bunny and they will also learn to trust you in return. Obviously there are a few that disagree with rabbit jumping as the bunny is required to be on a harness, but after training its an awarding sport. Rabbits are “natural” born jumpers, I can’t think of a healthy rabbit alive that doesn’t enjoy the odd jump. Also not all rabbits are fit for jumping and would injure themselves, for example the larger breeds.

I think it depends on how he handles it hun. If you take him and he looks frightened or unhappy take him straight home, if he enjoys it stay.
Let us know how you get on. x

I agree with Katie, I expect it depends on the bun...if he is confident around other people and stuff then maybe he will enjoy it . Good luck if you take him, it does rather sound like fun!

I think I'll try and organize to take him there for a couple of hours someday and see if he enjoys it. I will keep you updated if i take him!
