Just thought I'd introduce my 'foster' bunnehs ..
They are litter mate bucks, about one year old. The dark one is Shadow and his brother is Binky (on account of his athletic leaps ). They are currently living separately as 2 weeks post-snip but are close so hopefully will be rebonded soon. Their previous owner threatened they were "going in the pot if not gone by Friday" But they are really loving bunnies so I think they have been well loved in the past:
And a video of Binx washing my arm
They appeared to have dental problems when I first took them on (I'm fostering for 'me' not a rescue) as they had weepy eyes but after tear duct flushes Binky's eyes have been dry; his incisors may need some attention but otherwise his teeth are okay and he eats hay like a trooper. Shadow unfortunately can't eat hay because his teeth are poor .. almost certainly as a result of being fed cheap museli. His eyes still water, he is a happy little soul though and I'm working hard on getting him a good diet to keep him health. They would make fantastic house bunnies as extremely sociable and very clean. When FHB did their post-op check she said they were lovely bunnies and she would have been interested in offering them a home, if she had space for them
Whispers - there's a possiblity they will end up staying, but I didn't tell you that

Absolute sweethearts I sense a failed fosterer in the making
Re: Just thought I'd introduce my 'foster' bunnehs ..
Would you look at those squishy faces .... good luck with the "fostering"
Re: Just thought I'd introduce my 'foster' bunnehs ..
THanks everybody, they are very, very lovely bunsters.
I'm so flipping predictable I suspect everybody predicted this outcome except me,I just kept saying 'definitely not staying'
I keep saying six is my absolute limit but I'm just finding it hard to think of giving these little fluffs up to somebody else's care Strangely enough 'eight' doesn't actually scare me in the way 'six' did a year ago But if I could be really brave and find these guys a home as housebunnies it would be the perfect thing for them.
I really don't know how rescues/regular fosterers keep doing this, you guys are amazing
