Bunn Run
[b]Trying to design the bunn run for the new shed / hutch is it best to get the bunns back in at nites even if the run is secure. Personaly I would feel happyer if they were in the shed but what is the feelings of the experts (and I dont meen Jazz)

Re: Bunn Run
I would not class myself as an expert but I let my rabbits have 24 hour access to their run, I don't know about anyone else but mine seem to be quite active at night and as long as they are secure there should'nt be a problem. My garden is fully enclosed and in 7 years I have never had a problem. x

I dont have any experience of this having a house bunny, but I am a worrier so I would prob lock mine in, but I guess it is whatever you are comfortable with.

I have a vision of jazz sat in the shed bouncing a ball against the wall before tunneling out and jumping a barbed wire fence on a stolen motorbike!
So dont forget the search lights and the armed guards!

Re: Bunn Run
My lot have an attached run that they have acccess to 24hrs. I live on the back of a woods and there are a LOT of foxes around, however, the run has proper cage bars and not mesh weld. Dh and I thought about this alot and decided we wouldn't risk anything other than cage bars.

Re: Bunn Run
I don't let mine access outside at night, but that is partially because we live next to a park, with potential predators, and also because mosquitos get so much more active at nights over here.
I imagine if it is 100% secure from both predators and humans it should be fine
