She is on antibiotics and is developing mastitis. She goes back on Monday but I don't have to ay for any consultations they are doing those for free I just have to pay for the medication.

Oh, crickey, I had mastitus once when I was feeding my 3rd baby, it's such a horrid fluey feeling with painful boobs. I assume TigerLily is your cat? Poor little thing, I hope she doesn't have it in all her mammary glands. Anti biotics will help and as long as she keeps feeding her kittens (although painfull) it will clear it. Yeah she is in a lot of pain earlier but the medication seems to have kicked in and she has perked up a bit. Last kitten goes tomorrow so won't have to worry about her trying to be fed on anymore so that should help the infection and dry the milk up x

She might become engorged though if she stops feeding, that can be a a cause in itself for mastitus. Still, I expect your vet knows what he's doing. I hope she feels better soon x

Yeah she said thats what it is I have had to seperate the kitten from her so she doesn't try feeding off her.
