Frankie

Our brave little boy took himself off to the bridge this evening, Frankie had not been well and had developed 'lumps' in his throat that were in a very awkward position to operate, he also kept getting an infected prepuce, I had been syringing him for around 2-3 weeks but tonight he had enough and left us

Frankie was bought from a pet shop in Warwickshire along with his brother aged 6 weeks by a lady who had never had rabbits before, she was told that two unneutered brothers would be happy living together, needless to say that was wrong and Frankie was bullied very badly by his brother and the lady decided to give him to the rescue when he was 10 months old, that was in May 2008. It became apparent that Frankie was not a well bunny and when we had him neutered we had his incisors removed due to severe dental disease, we also had his very tight breeders ring removed

Frankie you were such a special little boy and we loved you very much, you needed extra care and attention and could never be homed and so you stayed as one of our sanctuary bunnies, you shared you time with Ginny and you loved each other, she is missing you very much tonight and is very lost, we are stunned at losing you so young, I really hope you enjoyed your time with us, we loved having you here and wish you could have stayed longer, I really hope that we did everything we could for you, you were so special Frankie, love and miss you loads, have fun at the bridge when you get there, sleep tight darling boy xxxxx

frankie was always my fave of your buns-I k ow you shouldn't have faces but I did and he was just so lovely. I am so sorry you lost him Theo x

I'm so upset His was a true story of redemption in your hands. I was lucky enough to meet Frankie a couple of times, such a sweetheart, who taught us all so much.
