Free range time
The last couple of days have been so lovely that I secured the front garden and let all 5 buns have a runabout. With all the space, Vince seems ok with Hutch, he just gets out of his way and runs off. It is sooooooooooo lovely to see them doing binkies and running around like loons! I've seen behaviours in them that I don't see when they are in their hutch and runs, I could just sit for hours watching them
I didn't realise that rabbits were such scavengers! They pinched my fruit cake and my boy's jam sandwich! I didn't think they would be interested in food like that
I've posted some pictures of them, it was difficult to photograph them as they kept running about!

Re: Free range time
They were out there for about 4 hours, when I checked on them later when they were in their hutchs, they were all asleep! Hutch was half in and half out of his hutch, I had to do a double take as I thought he'd dropped dead, but luckily he had just flopped out from all the digging and binkying!!
Hutch actually did a full 360 in the air, it was amazing to see!!

Re: Free range time
Wow! I can just imagine 5 exhausted bunnies after a fun day. There is nothing quite like watching bunnies enjoy themselves to make you feel happy I dont think.
Daisy is throwing himself round the front room at the moment. I love it x

I really miss having an indoor bunny, they are so funny to watch! Dh was watching Rosie sizing up the garden wall, and he exclaimed that even when Rose has the run of the garden she tries to escape, he reckons that even if we let her loose in the woods she'd search for a way out

Re: Free range time
I love the pics, what beautiful bunnies. Bunnies have a very sweet tooth. When something like chocolate has fallen on the floor in our house, or a some jam, biscuit crisps, anything, we have to watch him because he us there in seconds. It is such a shame because they love sweets things so much but they are so bad for them.
