Minnie

Our beautiful Minnie left for the bridge at 2.35 am this morning, your Dad and I were with you, we are so sad. Minnie came in to us when her owners were emigrating, she was 10.5 years old and they didn't even say goodbye to her, she had mammory tumours and horrendous fur mites that had eaten into her back. I took her to see Paula to see if anything could be done Paula said "just keep her comfortabel for as long as she's got, it will only be a couple of months" we treated the fur mites and I took her home and decided to spoil her rotten, which we did. A week or two later another vet saw her and I asked her the same question and got the same response, that was in November 2009

I was determined to give you everything you wanted Minnie, all those things that probably had never had, we even bonded you with handsome Snowy and you loved each other, at first you were hesitant because you had never had a partner before but you loved each other very much.

Snowy is sitting here miserable, he is lonely Minnie and we miss you so much, please have fun at the bridge sweetheart, binky high in the long lush grass, go and look for Mack and Mabel and they will look after you, I really hope you were happy with us, sleep tight sweetheart, love and miss you very much xxxx

So sorry to hear this, sounds like she had a great yr and a half with you and snowy

I can tell you now she was more than happy with you both. You were angels in her eyes and I'm sure she never had it so good!

So very very sorry to hear this, I hope you are okay Theo.

This bun knew what love and happiness was in the last 18 months of her life and no-one could have given her a greater gift than that.
