Childhood 'sticky plant'?
Pretty useless title I know!
But basically, the hay at the moment has this plant in that we used to use as kids to stick on each other. We would take off the balls and throw them at one another or just use the whole plant itself.
Any of you know what I mean? I have no idea what the name of it is, I googled sticky plant and got goosegrass? but I've no idea if that's what it is.
Are buns allowed this?

Re: Childhood 'sticky plant'?
Yes. I queried exactly the same thing last year - it is goosegrass and it is safe. It's also known as Cleavers apparently.
According to a rabbit nutrition book I have it says it's "a diuretic and may hlep eliminate bladder stones. It also has tonic properties."
It says once they have acquired a taste for it 'stock eat it with relish' - my 'stock' haven't eaten it (I've not offered them any relish though ) Or at least apart from the day I accidently went into to house with some stickybud plant stuck to my foot and Artie grabbed it and ran off and ate it and that's why I googled it because I was worried he shouldn't have had it. Ever since when I've gathered it I cant get anyone interested in it

Re: Childhood 'sticky plant'?
Hahaha maybe you should try offering your stock some relish
Thanks for answering! Ive been picking it out just incase but that's been messy, at least I know they can have it now. I wonder what they will think of it.
I normally search for previous threads but goosegrass didnt return any results and i didnt think me typing sticky balls would either haha

I thought it was strange, it must feel so strange when they eat it.
Even when it has been dried it is still quite sticky!
