mabel
mabel was speyed on thursday, they said it went well, i picked her up later that afternoon, but as nurse was getting her, she asked me sit down as she needed to clean her up, she found lump in wound area, vet then came out said they thought it may be just fluid and to bring her back in morning for check up, see if it had gone down
it hadn;t by next day, and vet examined her and said it felt as if the sutures had come undione inside, not sure how, but she was admitted then and given another operation to fix her up, vet said suture had completly come apart in middle, not sure why or how, but used another tupe of suture to stich her up incase she reacted to it in anyway
also she rechecked her teeth, she said that her bottom right molars where very long, (she only had dental few weeks back )
and the top ones barely any teeth there at all, so she burred the bottom pnes down while she was under, they didn;t charge me for the dental or second operation, which was good of them
soo she has had a rough few days, but today seems much brighter, nothing stops her eating though, she could eat all day, she loves her hay and pellets etc
she is back in morning at vets for check up post op, but ive been checking her wound and all seems well

Re: mabel
It sounds like she herniated, that can happen if they jump around, I hope they told you to keep her on bed rest for at least 7 days and not let her out to run about or jump about
Really hope she picks up soon and gets better
